Fast-track certification is an optional, step-by-step process for submitting certification applications under the Climate Bonds Initiative Certification Scheme. The purpose of fast-track certification is to expedite the certification application process for both issuers and verifiers.
Instructions
For Approved Verifiers
- Choose sector criteria
- Understand both the type and number of specific documents required for the certification application
- Download the required documents (or have links to the documents emailed to you)
- Send a single email to the Climate Bonds Initiative Certification Team with all the completed documents

For Debt Issuers
- Choose sector criteria
- Choose region (for the use of proceeds)
- If you already have an approved verifier for the assurance work, then you must identify the approved verifier (from a drop-down list)
- If you do not yet have an approved verifier for the assurance work, then you have two options:
- OPTION A: Receive, by email, a tailored list with applicable verifiers so that you may contact them
- OPTION B: Have verifiers email you expressions of interest based on the debt issuance's instrument type, size, etc.
- Understand both the type and number of specific documents required for the certification application
- Download the required documents (or have links to the documents emailed to you)
- Send a single email to the Climate Bonds Initiative Certification Team with all the completed documents
